Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth”
If you haven’t heard already, Al Gore has made a documentary “An Inconvenient Truth” on the causes and the effects of global warming. No matter what political persuasion you are, i urge everyone to go out and watch this movie. Form your own opinion about it. Comment on it here after you have watched it.

I though the movie was pretty good. Im not sure if Al Gore is a good spokesman for raising awareness of anthropogenic climate change. Im worried alot of people will think the charts he used in those lecture scenes could be suspect because Al Gore can be identified with a liberal political attitude. I’m pretty sure his figures were drawn from the IPCC though, it has members from every country including Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries that could care less if climate change is happening or not. I love driving, wheeling and working on my truck. However it seems like there is a fair chance this climate change thing could end up wreaking havoc in the future.

Yeah i didn’t like that they cut away from the diagrams pretty quick before you could really see what the X and Y axis really were. It bugged me when they zoomed in on just the steep increasing part of the graph. That did make it feel like they were tweaking the facts. I’ve seen a couple other documentaries on the subject, made way before “An Inconvenient Truth,” and Gore mirrors the same arguments and facts. I think his purpose is to just keep the issue in the public so that it’s not forgotten. None of the facts and evidence he presents are new and have been agreed upon by most of the scientific community way before the movie.

This comment is not as long as the movie was. Read it through, and do some research of your own.
There are multiple scientific problems with this whole global warming scam. Look to the end goals they are trying to achieve, with these scare tacticts. Look at the language they are using; words such as: possible, projected, could, perhaps, extinction, uninhabitable, etc.
Consider this. Air is oxygen and nitrogen, both fairly light gasses. CO and CO2 are both much heavier than air. They settle to the ground. That is why CO is dangerous near camp fires and home fireplaces. CO2 is heavier than CO. These gasses don’t float up into the atmosphere, and cause global warming. They settle to the ground. CO2, the gas of choice in this scam, is life to trees and plants. It settles to the ground, where the trees and plans can make use of it. The plants use the carbon, to help make more plant material, and give off oxygen; something we need. Like a CO2 filter. Life benefits from this.
Next: The charts that show a connection between historical global warming and CO2 levels, actually show the warming happening first, ant the CO2 increasing after. The warming causes the CO2, not the other way around. The charts also show this happening on a long cycle, over and over. Also, the charts show the cycle warming up, followed by an abrupt drop in temperature and then CO2. This is known as an Ice Age. I suppose they will try to blame that on us also, and further increase their means of political control.
The only glaciers that are getting smaller, are the ones that are not being replentished by new snow. The lower end of the glaciers erode away, at a certain rate. If there is less input from upstream, then erosion will happen faster than growth. This isn’t global warming, this is lower precipitation. Most of the planets glaciers are monitored from space, via satellite (too remote to get to on foot). the scientists that monitor the world’s glaciers don’t see a significant change in the total glacier volume of the planet.
The arctic is losing ice: OK. What is the cause? Is it less snow fall, less cloud cover, higher average air temps? If there is global warming, then all of these things are probably true. Did we cause it? NO. Can we stop it? NO.
Flooding: If Ice is water, and it is floating in water (the whole northern ice cap is floating), then when it melts the level of the water will not rise. The ice displaces exactly as much water as the ice weighs. Liquid water takes up less space than frozen water. It does not weigh more or less, either way. So; as 50 tons of ice melts, it becomes 50 tons of water, taking up exactly the same space in the ocean, as the submerged portion of the ice did.
The only ice that could cause the ocean levels to rise, would be the ice that is currently on land. It melts and runs into the sea. There isn’t enough of this type of ice to raise the ocean more than 2 inches. Also: as the atmosphere heats up, and more moisture is sucked up into it, the oceans may not change level at all.
Conclusion: CO2 does not float around in the atmosphere, causing a greenhouse effect, it settles to the ground. The Earth isn’t warming up because of CO2; but the reverse. The oceans are not going to rise more than 2 inches. The ice caps are losing ice volume, which could have many causes, temperature being Al Gore’s inconvenient choice.
Again: Look to the end of the program, to see what they want you to give up, for their scam. What liberties, freedoms, etc. What do they want the whole world’s population to do? SUBMIT.

One last note: Most of the scientific community does not agree, with any of this “Global Warming” issue. In fact, the “community” is heavily divided on this issue. They agree that we can reduce our CO2 production; but they don’t agree that it will make any difference to “Global Warming”.
The scientific community does agree, there is nothing we humans are going to do, that will change the natural cycle of this planet. They aslo agree that politicians will use any tool possible to grab more power.
These are both facts that have massive quantities of data to back them up.
